2 of the 4 screws on my speaker enclosure on my door are stuck. The metal is kind of soft too, so I don't want to strip them.
I dremeled out the black enclosure, soaked in WD-40 over night, and tapped the screws alot, but this didn't do it.
Any other suggestings? Is there some "mystery solvent" that will break it loose? Maybe Nissan used threadlocker.
Should I risk heating my door and the screw up with a propane torch, then coolingthe bolt with an ice cube?
Thanks in advance &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

i had problems with the screws that hold my license plateon and i used "liquid wrench". &nbsp;its kind of like WD40 but works alot better imo. it comes in a can and in a little sqeezie bottle but i find that the can works better.. o well thats what i used i hope this helps....i really cant think of anything else....

I ran into the same problem on my driver's side speaker (up front). &nbsp;I just took some lubricant (can of grease found at any local Autozone) and a toothpick. &nbsp;I dipped the toothpick in the lube, then just squeezed down and made a circle around the screw...did the trick. &nbsp;Where are you located at Natty? &nbsp; If it's anywhere near me, I'd be happy to give a fellow 240 owner a hand...I am only offering cuz you posted on my topic earlier about the project taking you a while.
