Ok thiswends day i went to MEPS which is the military place to get in if you vcan.I took the asvab and got a suckass score but got a pretty good job.I am a 93 papa or aviation ops specialist.I will be working at an airport in one of thse towers.I wanted a 92 golf but i was found color blind "stupid army".I know my colors just could not figure out those damn numbers like alwys since i have been a kid.I ship out to basic training on november 6 2002 to go to fort benning,georgia and that is for 9 weeks with three weeks off for chirstmas and then i have to got o fort rucker alabama.damn that is alot of freaking flying.Then i will find out where i am going to be posted but i ill be back for like 3-5 weeks at least for home base recuriting to get extra time.

Yeah I know how that goes with the color blindness.  I cant get my damn night rating for flying!  But what can you do.  Well thats great that you got a good job in there.  I respect anyone that joins the military.  Good Luck!

only thing that sucks is im trying to get my citizenship so i can get aviation electronics. good luck man im shipping out to san diego california sometime in january hopefully a lil sooner

i hated MEPS....you sit there for like 12hours just to fill out paper work and have some old guy touch where the sun doesn't shine....i felt violated.....wait until you get to basic traing....get ready to get yelled at...

yeah i know from what i just heard fort benning is being investigated for 4 rangers going crazy.I am ready to be yelled at but i will be happy when it is all over.

Went through MEPS in Brookyln. That was 7 years ago. I love the Air Force.... I am still serving, It's really a good deal guys, feel free to PM with any Q's.
