Hey guys im on my second 240sx fastback.. there's a loud noise coming from when i steer left n right. what is it?

rack&pinion is gone or has no fluid.
maybe you pump died.

power steering. could be low on fluid or the pump is shot. something along those lines. Thats just the first thing that comes to my mind when i read ur post. Hope that helps

another thing to look for.. on my 95 240, i started hearing that sound so i took a look at the fluid resevoir for power steering while the car was running, i could see the fluid was very cloudy and the consistency looked off.
