240sx Intake problems!

I have a 92 240sx with a ka24de. I just bought a AEM intake and installed it today, the car has 118k on the engine and ran extra nice until I installed the intake then the car felt like it wanted to turn off. The engines idle went lower and lower until it turned off. Im fucking pissed off at this shit so I need some opinions on what it could be. When I rev up the it sputters and then it's normal. So help me out here guys! thanks in advance.

All the hoses from the stock intake were connected back on the regular aem 3 inlets. And the only hose that was'nt connected was the EGR hose. I think it might be the MAf because once I put the intake on it, it felt weird the idle went up and down. Im thinking it wouldn't be a problem since it really close to being a stock intake system. Other then the chrome piping and bigger air inlet.

If your EGR hose is on the intake, you have a serious problem besides it running rough.

I took the fucking intake out because it was pissing me off it made my car run like shit. So I put everything stock back on I connect every single hose and now my tranny shifts like shit. And on first gear it takes about 5 seconds to shift. and then it feels like the car aint giving all the power to the wheels. I step on the gas hard at W.O.T. and and the car takes of slow. It never did this before and now im even more pissed of then I was before. I buy a fucking intake and it comes with tranny problems. And forgot to mention it also turns off when I put the car in park. I checked every single hose and there not one hose that is disconected. I dont know what the problem could be now other then take it to the Nissan dealer and have the rip me a new asshole!

Wow. You need to sell it now and buy a bike. Not to poke fun but if you had this much trouble, how are you able to turn the key in the ignition?

the transmission is irrelevant to the intake. make sure no vac lines are cracked, or leaking. make sure the mafs is plugged in right. hell unplug the mafs and see what happens at idle try to rev the engine from the throttle pulley. if the mafs is messed up, when its unplugged.. you shouldnt see any difference. unplugging it when its functional will make your engine run like trash.
