i dunno....maybe im just paranoid but heres what i feel.
when i shift into second it seems like there a little friction...no grind just not common. also today im having trouble geting it into reverse without shifting through the gears.

is it really bad to take 1st to 6k and shift and 2nd to 6k?.....another thing i realized was its probally not smart to do that because i get wheelspin from 1st to 2nd and wheelspin = tracion loss and slower acelleration correct?

Probably not great for the car to rev all the way that high, but not horrible. You might want to change the transmission fluid and see if that helps. Always a good idea, no?

if...that works...

make sure engine is off.
open fill plug.
make sure engine is off!
put finger in fill plug,
or check the oil in that somehow else...

It never hurts to replace that.
