96 KA - Strange coolant leak on drivers side, near AC compressor...

Just noticed it this evening. Kind of a slow drip while the car is running. Will be jacking up the car tomorrow to look further to see where it's coming from. Just thought I'd post here to see if anyone else had an issue similar and what it ended up being. I'm fairly certain there are no coolan hoses on that side of the engine, so it must be running down there from another area on the cetner or passenger side somewhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ok well first off, sorry, it was just a preliminary post. Like I said, I haven't really taken a good look at it yet. It does however, continously slow drip even though the car is off. Here are some pics I just snapped tonight. Maybe it could be a busted water pump? I'm not sure. It looks as if it drips down from somewhere, then rides along the rim of the oil pan till it falls off on the driver side.

Meaning the gears inside are bad? Time for replacement?

If the weap hole is bad it means the seals inside the water pump is bad and yes replacement. Does your car overheat or running hotter then normal.

Yup, was water pump, picked a new one up at Kragen for $45 with tax and has a lifetime warranty. Drove it around all evening after installing it and works beautifully now.
