Im bout to get a 95 s14 Se fully loaded with 98K on it. It feels noticeable faster than my car I thought it would be slower do to the weight. The only problem is there is a bad knock in the engine could it be the plug wires cause the new ones they put in don't fix right.

noticeable faster than the s13?  did u have the SOHC?  'cause the s14 is faster than some of the s13 (except 91) by a few friction of a second, i doubt you can feel it... unless ur s13 is really out of shape...

Except 91... what about the 92 and 93? What does the 91 have that 92&93 dont?

I have a 92 so I have DOHC. My S13 is pretty tuned up (newplugs,wires,filters)I take care of It but the S14 still feels faster

91's were the year they put the wilder cams in iirc

91 0-60 7.9 sec
92 and 93 0-60 8.3 sec

damn 91 cams, damn you all!

actually the 91 intake cams are in the 92-93.  the exhaust cams are different.

I love my s14 and i feel a little different when i get into a s13 i fell my s14 is a little faster.I have a cai thats all.

i love my s14, should get a carfax on the one your buying...there were a couple of recalls.  i have the webpage somewhere just pm me if you want it.  id like to have a s13 too but no spare $$$ for that.
