s13 attempting digi climate control swap importnt questions need answers!!! Please Help!!

Ok so I just got an S13 blacktop SR clip in. Now it had the digi climate control in the dash so after doing a little dance of thanks to the car gods j/k I removed the dash and guage bezel ect. Now I am able to see the wiring harness and all the sensors that belong to the climate control system. Without cutting any wires I disconnected all necesary sensors from their slots or places. I unplugged the power door feature from the main harness and was literally able to peel the part of the main dash wiring harness that controls the climate control. If you look at it you see the climate control unit and can follow the harness to each and every sensor inc. the ground wire without a single cut wire.

My question is can I simply use this JDM harness for the climate control and just remove all USDM sensors or does the ECU play a part in the USDM climate control?

If I can use the harness, how do I get power to it since I believe that is all I need?

why is it that whenever I ask any question in zilvia I either never get an answer or someone just insults me at how stupid I am and tells me I should search. Well I have searched and some questions have not been answered. The main flaw in this site is the arrogance displayed by it's members, if I had the possibility of helping someone who just needed information that I had, I would gladly share it without making said person feel stupid and useless just to boost my own ego concerning cars.

Is that not what this site was originally founded on, helping others with their problems concerning nissan silvia's, providing a place to sell parts just for silvia's?

sup, well r u swapping the whole wiring through out the car? cuz if you are then u should be ok to just use the jdm wiring and remove change the sensors. but if your not then just follow that write up. i did the digi climate on my car already. as for the US climate control workin wit the ECU yes i think it does since there are sensors hooked up to it.

He's swapping the climate control harness part like he outlined in his original post...

Does anyone know the answer to this question...I'm wondering the EXACT same thing. I'm planning to do an SR swap and it seems like I can get enough stuff like this off the clip to make it worth the extra $$$...as long as it works!!!
