SSAC N1 Dual Replicas...where now?

I rember before people used to buy them for only 2-250 shipped. Now its 357.50 shipped off their site.

Just wondering if they sell these anywhere else for cheaper...

Now before you flame, to me an exhaust is a exhaust. Im going to bang it up...so no point in spending 5-600 for a real one when the fake one is just as good =]

Yeah, i think its been awhile since they got kicked off ebay.

I did get lucky, and find one company that still sold the replicas around 200. Was 2hours away from winning it for 230.

Then the seller closed his account or something gay like that...man was i pissed

That sucks, they are pretty good if you can find one. I've had mine on the car for over a year and it sounds great. It has a nice rumble to it but its not annoyingly loud. Got mine for $150 shipped, good luck hope you find one.

got mine for $150 too. My sr sounds amazing with it, but I think its just the turbo motor sounding good with any big pipes. I think it looks cool too with just 2 mufflers coming out the back, how can a SS exhaust be ugly? It fits like absolute hell though, I had to raise the rear end half an inch just so I wouldn't scrape on rocks in the road. I've tried to raise it several times, we went as far as welding an additional hanger by the resonater part and solid mounting it to the frame. Do not pay $350 for this, lol, I would definately get a Megan or custom one if thats your price range. In the pic its kind of hard to see but the exhaust is about an inch from the dirt, max.

yea mine hung a little low too, but we welded another bracket on and now it sits fine. I scrape my front bumper before i scrape my exhaust...
Oh, I have an S13, don't know if the fitment on the 14's is different?

i got mine for $145 shipped about a year ago. I personally love how it sounds but the fitment wasn't that great.

also, after crashing at htm, the resonator, which already sat pretty low, sits even lower now... it's about 2" off the ground right now... and my car is not that low...

If you can get one for under $200 Id be happy. If I can get one now for that price I would just to have for daily use. My URAS exhaust is pretty loud and I wish I have a cheap alternative to switch between.

Why would you want to switch your exhaust? Just get a good custom made exhaust, well fit better, sound better and can be made to be really really quiet. I got mine done for cheaper then I could have bought a SSAC exhaust for and it is 3inch DP back and mandrel bent.

I dunno. I was thinking about copying the first section of my catback, but adding in a resonator. That was another option I have thought about.

Im really close to going custom. Also copying the N1 Dual but right near the tips, get rid of the canisters and do a Trust DD look.

on the ssac dual exhaust, the resonater in the middle is the lowest part. mine scraped so much it broke the welds and fell off. i replaced that piece with 2 pipe and that gave me more clearance also

I know that the hangers were put on wrong, so i was already expecting to remount the hangers.

god, i do not understand why people still want to support that crappy company. the fact that they have been booted from ebay several times should be a hint to you. their quality control is pretty much nonexistant, it seems like you have maybe a 50-50 chance of getting a part that fits right, and if you try to get them to fix the problem, they'll leave you negative feedback and call you a scammer.

just because they got booted from ebay doesnt really mean they are a poor company.

ebay buyers especially car part buyers are some of the dumbest f**ks on the planet ... take it from me who sells on ebay..
