... do anything stupid. Im replacing the battery terminals on my zenki and I wanted to double check what im supposed to do with the red thing.

Im under the impression that its not very important and I can just break the terminal out of it... am I right? Any help would be great..

You need them. Just bolt it back onto the new terminal.

yeah, for some reason I didnt realize that once you loosen the clamp completely all you gotta do is bolt it to the new terminal... one less thing on my 240 I gotta worry about...
