Do I need to cut my stock 1/4 if going widebody?

I never really hear anyone talk about this. I would want to be able to tuck my wheels a little and still be flush with the widebody. Seems like I would need to trim the stock body some. Anyone have pics of how they trimmed it or what their setup looks like?

cut out the fender well and the inside skin some so you can fit a wheel no problem, pull it up and stich weld. then lay over the overfender and drill/rivet

If you are going widebody, you are likely going with bigger wheels and tires. So you will need to cut away some metal most likely. And if you are tracking or drifting, you definitely will want to trim some metal away to protect your tires.
