loud humming/vibrating in right rear

whenever i drive about 40mph there is a loud humming/vibrating coming from the right rear area. its not inside there car, so its not just the interior pieces vibrating. its pretty loud to where you have to almost yell to talk to someone in the car.
i jacked up the car and the wheel bearing isnt loose or anything like that...i also looked at the suspension pieces and everything looks ok.

does anyone know what this might be?
thanks for any help

The wheel could be out of balance.

most likely a wheel bearing. is it s13 or s14? the s14 is a selfcontained sealed unit. they likely wont feel loose, the humming or grinding is from them being too tight, rusty, worn out, ect... mine do the same thing. pretty damn anoying to say the least. but also pretty expensive to replace. i guess just live with it as long as you can.

oh, also check the tire tread. if you have weird wear or flat spots it will also cause that same type of noise.

which bolts? the lock nut or the ones that connect to the output shafts?

i have a similar problem with the sound but it goes away after 120km/hr

im thinking maybe my studs are warped.
