SR finally up and running .... but still some gremlins

So finally after almost a year and a half of delays and push backs i finally ( some what )finish this dear old project of mine its a redtop SR in a 95 s14 and its RUNNING !! Now the problems that I am having are :

1. When coming to a stop from anything higher than 10~20 mph it dies and I have to clutch kick it to get it back to idle. I've checked the I/C pipes and they're not leaking. It throws the battery light when it dies but the battery is still fairly new about 6 months old the only thing I can see it that it shifted to the other side of the battery box but it was still connected.

2. the tach and the temp gauge do not work the temp dosent move at all while the tach jumps and stays at 5k. the speedo and fuel gauge fully work though.

3. is really more of a question I ran the fuel pump and the elec. fans both to a switch panel I fab in the a/c den slot both with their own switchs and fuses after running the car around the block about 10 mins the switchs where noticeably hot when I went to switch them off is this normal ? I never ran anything off a switch before so I wanted to make sure.

Thats all I can remember for right now any and all help is welcome and apperciated.

1. of course it throws a battery light when it dies. you have a boost leak at your bov.
2. you need to use a s14 speed sensor to fix that. your temp gauge doesn't work because you forgot to wire it up at the F3 harness side.
3. to run your switches correctly. you need to build a RELAY to them. so you dont have the switch drawing all the powers. A relay will just get the switch to trigger it and the power runs through the relay instead.
