In the rear you will need a pull for sure. The front you SHOLD be fine though you might need a roll at most. but im 90% sure you're fine on the front, 100% positive you need a pull on the rear.

the front will be sunken in a tad bit. On stock fender im going 18x9 +0 and 18x10+10 with pull in the rear. you might want to check out some wheel fitment threads on the forum. http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=129865 I'm going to be running some very agressive fitment. on stock fender if I were to run 235/40 in front I would probably do that a 18x9+12.
If i were you and wanted to fit 235/40/17 and have a conservative setup I would run on a stock body: 17x9 +15 235/40 17x10 +25 255/40 very conservative fitment would be 17x9 +20 and 17x10+30, with -1 camber all around. I believe the very conservative setup would be more for people who care about handling and are aiming for time attack. Though i'd go beefier tires if it was time attack. I'm not an expert and too lazy to type, maybe someone can correct me. |

that depends on what you want. normally I think you want more traction in the rear. I would not go 9 in the rear though and I would personally run staggered. If you are going for performance I can't help you there unfortunately...

something no one ever seems to consider around these places is the effect of running such low offsets has on how the car handles.....you're massive increasing stock scrub radius, and decreasing the wheel rate of the spring.
anyways thats a pretty aggressive rear wheel, definately going to have to work those rear fenders. 17x10 +33 or +34 basically puts the outside edge of the lip dead nuts even with the outside (vertical) edge of the fender, with no flare at all..in the rear. 17x9 +28 or so does the same in the front. so if you have + 20mm front fenders then +8 should put your real close to normal flush..... in zilvia terms you could subtract about 20mm from each of those figures!! |
