RB turbo on ka????

so i have a t-28 turbo off an rb26dett and has studs on the turbo where my t-25 does not. and if i put the 2 together the studs on the t-28 fit the t-25 bolt pattern so im asking do i need a t-3 flanged mani to use this turbo or just have a flange welded on im not sure and dont wanna find out the hard way thanks

im not sure what the difference is on rb20 and rb26 turbos but a friend of mine is using my old rb20 turbo on his ka-t, I know it fits a t-3 flange
