advice before i go to my first track experience

Ok so im finally going on my first track experience and what i wanted advice on was my wheel set up. I have two sets of wheels to use and i wanted to know how i should run them. I have a set of wats 16x7 16x8, the 16x7 wats i have to run a bolt on spacer to clear my z brakes. Then i have a set of falken hanabis, 17X9 +20 all around, these clear my zbrakes no problem. So i just wanted to know how i should run my wheels like what should i run in the front mostly.. O and also my ebrake doesnt work properly so i wont have one to use(no problem right?) i hear people use their clutch more anyway? any advice is appreciated

I'd prefer to have a functioning e-brake.
I'd use whatever wheels have the best tires/sizing.

Get a good night's sleep.
Look through your car before and after leaving for the track making sure it's all gravy.
Be open minded and ready to learn.

pace yourself, Can't expect to go balls out right away. Don't get frustrated (from the bubble that explodes in your mouth-beerfest ) Take it in steps. And get better in steps rather than pushing it and coming home with no car.

Put on whichever wheels have the better set of tires on them.

Make sure youve got some good brake pads.

Make sure there is nothing wrong under the hood. You will be sad if you break your car at the track.

Find yourself a cool instructor to talk to then sit down, shut up, and learn everything you can from watching them.

- Dont worry if you suck at first
- Dont worry if you spin out over and over at first.
- Dont worry about impressing the gallery
- Ride with multiple people and guage their actions. watch their feet and hands as they initiate and follow through their slides.
- Start off with circle donuts, smaller then bigger.
- Try some ebrake 180's
- Go on the track when everyone else is cooling their cars down or when the track is empty, this way you do not have to worry about slowing people down...
- Shit its easier than wakeboarding I can tell you that
