TEIN's Bottoming out...

hey guys i have a problem, i drive '90 fastback with a set of TEIN super street coilovers on it. The only problem is that lately they have been bottoming out, i dont know why and have never had experience with this subject, so basically i want to know what i can do about the situation, whether it be a simple adjustment or having them rebuilt, any advice or info would be greatly appreciated...thanx ahead of time

By the way the setup is about 2 1/2 years old if that helps at all...

Any leaks?
How low is it?

If its not absurdly low, I believe you'll have to rebuild.

Check if the adjustment collars slipped or anything silly like that, also check to see if the dampeners are leaking. If they are done you can send them back to Tein for a rebuild.

If you lowered your car through preload, then that is why.

its definatly not 250 per coil, i couldnt see a rebuild being more than 100 each. if it is, just buy new...

How high up do you have the spring perch? Wondering how low you are....

I also have Superstreets, and I have mine unbelievably low....I think like -2.6" front and like 1.8" in back

I have maybe like 1.5" of strut travel in front and back, but i drive it on like 12 front, 10 rear, and dont bottom out

Maybe your struts are blown, or not stiff enough for how low you are...

Let us know how low you are.....
