I have a few scratches on my new arias pistons. They are located on the top of the pistons. Will this have any affect on my engine if installed?

Hello as long as they are not some deep a$$ gouges it should be OK. Take some 1500 or 2000 grit paper wetwith solvent and/or scotch brite & deburr the scratches. Make sure there are no sharp edges,to create hot spots,the rest will fill in with carbon over time.
