Need help with hesitation and rough idle

Ok ever since i got this car (89 240sx se manual) when it has been sitting for a few hours, and you start it, it has a very rough idle, I changed plugs and it made it somewhat worse but it is fine after a minute or so. Also I have a hesitation at partial throttle when it is cold, but after a minute or so of driving it is fine. The last problem I have is my speedometer, It works sometimes right away when you start driving but then it stops, until you drive it for around 30 min then it will start again, I have had the gauge cluster out twice to look for bad connection but everything seems fine. I have searched for answers for all these questions but i cant find any problems exactly like these.

Speedo - did you check the tranny speed sensor & harness? right near the driveshaft input

rought idle - Ive seen similar activity on KA's with vacuum leaks, or corrosion in the MAF harness.

not sure if it helps, but thats what i would check out.

good luck

check your ecu, pop out your passenger kick panel and unscrew the ecu from its mount, and then turn it around, your will need a flat head screw driver and read the label. then check what the code is throwing.

ex. long beep equals 10, short beep 1
(ie) Beeeep Beeeep Beeeep, Beep Beep Beep Beep
34
try it and then go from there

1. wiggle your maf plug, press it further into the MAF.
2. Seafoeam your aiiv
3. Check your speedo harness under your car
SEARCH
FSM (factory service manual)
egr malfunction
seafoam on Nicoclub.com
stalling, rough idle

tons of write-ups and procedures, arm yourself with a FSM (factory service manual) go from there.
