95 s14 base model

driving along today a random problem popped up
whenever i signal to turn either right or left, my hazards flash instead
hazards still work, incidentally

anyone know of any common trouble spots for this problem? thanks

damn nobody? anyway

harness was rubbing on the tire closest to the door. harness is relocated, but not enough. either that or i'm just too low. i taped it back up and moved it as far back as i could, but i think i'm going to move it into the engine bay. fuck it.
