S15 Front Clip questions?

Hello. I have a S14 and i want to do a Sr20det swap and a S15 front end conversion. I was wondering if it would be best to just buy a S15 front clip.

Other things i was wondering about is installing the engine. Would installing a S15 Sr20DEt be much different then installing a S14 Sr20Det? And Will the S15 fenders, hood, and bumber fit directly in or will it have to be modified to fit in?

Heres what i was thinking of getting...

I think some members on here have had problems with Flash Options, search the business review thread.

you're gonna have to get s14.5 fenders.

they are conversion fenders not the s15 ones.

You can also cut up the S15 and your S14 fenders and weld the two together into a functional set of fenders.

If you want to go all OEM and do it all at once, then a front clip with complete panels would definitely be the way to go.

I think the S14 front end looks awesome with the right aero, but if your heart is set on the S15, then go for it.

Good Luck.

Why wouldnt he be able to use the cluster? Ive seen plenty of people wire up S15 clusters into their cars.

you usually dont get a nice front end with front clips... usually missing headlights or they are damaged.... ect

grab the s14 sr and buy everything else seperately... besides your want to paint the car right after you do the conversion so you do need to have a bit saved to do a good paint job.

Thanks for your input guys. I think im going to reconsider getting an S15 front clip. Ill just wait it out until a nice S14 front clip come out. So i dont have to put so much labor into body work.

I think flashoption might not that great of a place. I look at that site every once in a while and they always have the same things in. The S14 front clip in there site has been there for ages.

wait why do you need a s14 front clip to skip out on body work. what body work is there to swap in a s14 sr20det? It bolts right in with the KA mounts. go with the s14 sr20det motor set and buy some aero for your car you'll be happier in the long run
