vLSD outta a '94 Infinity J30

I am wondering for info purposes - do they come with 5 bolt output shafts only or is there some that come with the 6 bolt output shafts (same as 240sx)?

If it's a '94, then it's gonna be five bolt output flanges. The '96+ J30 had the six bolt output flanges.

Close. '95-'97 are 6bolt. '92-'94 are 5bolt.

Ok for others wondering the same as me - early 94' J30s had 5 bolt output shafts.
Later 94' J30s had 6 bolt output shafts like the 240sx.

But on the same note there are exceptions. So look at the output shafts before you buy.

If they are 5 bolt output shafts you will need the halfshafts (axles) - Some say the 5 bolt halfshafts (axles) are stronger than the 6 bolt halfshafts (axles) - I woul dhave to see proof to belive this.
If they are 6 bolt output shafts you will "not" need the halfshafts (axles) - Use your 240sx halfshafts (axles)

And if they have ABS they will be .75" longer. Some say if you do not use the ABS driveshaft from a 240sx the diff will make alot of noise and some say it will be fine. I will let you know for sure when we install it.

ALL J30s have ABS.

If I have a 94 J30 vlsd with 5 bolts but no 5 bolt axles, and I want to swap 6 bolt vlsd axle stubs into it, that will work right? I have a worn out vlsd that I can pull the stubs out of...
