Mine didn't come with any rear speakers and I was wondering where they are supposed to be and what size?

thanks!

in the hatchback at least, they are located next to the trunk cover joints just behind the right and left hand sides of the rear seat. They are 4x6 in size. I recommend getting Infinity Kappa's, their sound clarity and reproduction of tone is the best for the curvature and harmonics created by the hatch window's arc.

ok, so right where the rear side windows are? under the pillar?

so there's no room for 6 1/2" eh?

you could always squeeze them in somewhere...it would have to be a helluva custom job...if there arent any speaker mounts in the holes already you might be able to put one at a slant with a custom mount but i dont know how expensive that would be or what kinda sound quality youd get. Ive heard of people taking off the little armrest things in the back seat and putting speakers inside there then drilling sound holes in it
kinda hard to do though.
you could also get some 6x9 size boxes and just put them somewhere...

sorry but no way.

you could make a custom box, but why? you'd block off the spot where your rear strut tower brace would go! No way, that'd be full on rice. The harmonics inside the s13 hatch are great! just get decent speakers and a GOOD amp (clean power is important!), then add a sub... because of the shape of the cabin, my MTX Blue Thunder (with only a sealed 10" sub) sub and 300w amps w/infinity kappas sounds WAY better (louder too) than my friend's 900w rockford system, he hates that
Especially since he paid over twice as much for his system, with dual 10" Infinity perfect subs Size is NOT everything in stereos... clarity and accurate reproduction of sound AND volume... now that's your goal.

theres also the possibility of building a custom box to house mids and subs. unless of course that's too "rice"?
