valve cover wire mesh
i removed the t-valve on my s13 sr valve cover, and inside the valve cover, where the t-valve is inserted, there is a wire mesh or screen, i'm guessing, it serves as a filter.
i removed it to see what was it (didn't know what was it at the time), is this mesh needed? please let me know. thanks. Last edited by X 350GT X; 09-21-2007 at 03:51 AM.. |

Id imagine it's a filter, as the T hooks into the intake before the turbo to suck out crank case gasses. Something breaks in the head, metal doesn't wind up in your comrpessor, something like that. Any reason you are ditching the T?
