my s15 t28 was taken off the car today to fix a exhaust leak and i noticed the fins have a few chips on them and the blade is scraping the intake housing a little. it doesnt have shaft play nor does it smoke. turbo has been on for about a year and was never boosted over 9psi till 2 weeks ago it was tuned for 14psi. what could have causes this and will it last?

You sucked something in through your engine. A rock/grains of sand pretty much anything small enough to flow with air going into your engine
