i think im going to go honda you guys. my nissan quest (ha ha nissan quest? ok...)is almost over. im getting very frustrated with my digital speedometer. i took apart the whole dash, looked at all the wiring diagrams, checked the speed sensor, and i even found the dead wires inside the cabin that didn't give power to the guage cluster. so far nothing STILL works except my tach, my warning lights, and the arrows. my dimmer doesnt work, my lights in the cluster, the speedo, HUD, and other little things! ah... if you can seriously help... werd. maybe its the circuit board.??? help.

I know my digital speedo did fail before I bought the car. The previous owner got sick of fixing the car. Check around at the junkyards, or maybe swap into the analog speedo.

Check out for a burnt out light maybe? Otherwise, it may just be a failed unit. I believe they do die after awhile.

If I had a digital dash I would seriously rip it out.  Replace all the gauges with autometer ones and make a custom backing.  Digital will only give you problems and isn't as accurate. Some may not want to take the time but I think the custom look would be worth it.

Is it difficult and or possible to go to analog? Like snag a cluster out of a fastback and throw it in my coupe? (In cse if the speedo dies again)
