ive been talking to a few people lately about their body kits...and ive noticed on alot of kits for the S13...the side skirts dont always sit flush to the body near the rear wheel (dont know if you would considder this the rear quarter panel or not)

ive been told that applying heat to the fiberglass will cause it to become plyable again so you can bend it a bit more twords the body and make it fit a bit better

has anyone ever heard of this??

i know theres a bit involved in fitting a kit sometimes to a car...but ive never personally worked with fiberglass...ive just always bought OEM aero stuff for my s13 so it bolts right up with no fitting required...bondo and sand paper are no problem...but fiberglass is a bit of a mystery to me

If you guy a good quality kit and not a knockoff it fits perfet. Bn and Vertex do I know for sure.

lol...okie dokie then

but then again....i think i might get a little annoyed at fiberglass period just due to the fact im so use to OEM fitment...and polyurethane is SO easy to adjust and cut if needed

Yeah...next time I buy aero, it will be BN or vertex...I have an origin kit (not exactly cheap, not exactly nice) and I spent a good portion of last saturday fitting, sanding, heating my kit to make it fit ok...one skirt is still making me mad! Buy something nice and save your frustrations!

Get familiar with fiberglass, break them and rebuild them to fit.
