I know my problem has nothing to pertain with 240's but i like talking to you guys and you guys seem like you know what you are talking about. So, my family has an old Nissan Pulsar, and the rev limiter is set so low. It is suppose to redline at 6300 RPM's and the rev limiter kicks in around 4300-4700. It is different in every gear, and 1st doesn't have a rev limiter. Is this cause the car is so old that it is just crapped out or did someone change it to do this before we got the car?

I would check the speedo cluster, early redline is a common problem if you have a loose connection at the back or a shot cluster.
