![]() I have a FMIC and a BOV on the hotpipe. When i left the shop the BOV was working great. Next time i turn it on...it stoped. Im boosting just fine....vaccum is strong...pipes are all on tight. Car is set at 8psi.. and the bov is a turbo xs (ebay knock off..i know....i know) There is a pipe coming from the intake that i think went to the stock SMIC that is not plugged....could this be the problem? Im not sure because it was working when i left the shop. I've adjusted the spring to where it should release quicker and nothing....I've searched and can't find this problem....anyone help!

It was open when it was working which makes in wonder....the pipe wasn't plugged when it was working..My mechanic was saying the spring is to hard since the BOV is set for a 5-25psi. But im boosting over 5 so i don't know what's wrong. The car runs fine and the boost gauge shows me going up to 8psi. And yes..i paid...the BOV was installed professionally.

I just ran the car and the BOV released just a little bit on first gear. Only got a psh sound rather that a pshhhhhh sound. Didn't release in any other gear. Anyone got any ideas.....the vaccum at 20 and all pipes are nice and tight.....
