spl subframe collar help needed!

well guys i put my collars on today! got the front driver and both the back ones before i started to do the pass side front. finished the back 2 and the driver side front. started on the pass front and well got the bottom on and the top had a fat ass piece of rubber that wouldnt let the collar go in on top! so i just said fuck it! and tightened it back all together! took it for some nice ass slides today and it did a little better but then it made a fat loud ass clunk! (not as often) so i tell caden636 (chuck) and he says tighten it up more so i do and it still does it. so i go back and take out the pass side bottom (no bushings on the pass side front) and tightened up the 2 diff bolts (thought it was it) and now it doesnt do it hard at all very soft and often! so i think it just may need that top on on there to get the loud clunk and such gone. anyone??? help is needed! thx
