Buddy is Stranded....need to know the Alternator Bolt Thread Pitch/Size

Hey everyone. As we speak my buddy is stranded as he has lost the bolt that holds the alternator tensioner to the alternator. I don't know the exact size or thread pitch so if anyone knows post up! I'm doing the best I can looking for the size online but have had no luck. Another friend is going to go to a 24hr autozone so we need the thread pitch and size in order to get my friend back home. Thanks!

Why didn't I think of that. If you have another car and can afford to keep your 240 out of service for a few mins, just take off your's and let him borrow it. Take it back and find out the thread and pitch. You just need another car to get to him, I'm sure he has other friends that are willing to help right?

Dude I've been through this shit before!

Take out a bolt from your trunk

Tell him to pull the pulley as hard as he can, while getting to thread the screw.

He didn't have his tools with him though.

Either way, I talked to him at almost 12am and he was talking to his gf, who drives a 240 vert. He said he would call me back since he was on the phone with her when I called but he hasn't yet and it's already 1:45am. My guess is that since they live together he asked her to take him his tools and jumper cables, pick him up, go to the 24hr Autozone, remove the bolt in the parking lot, buy a replacement, go back to his car, install the bolt, jump the car and finally go home lol. I'm sure he's ok. For you that posted, thanks.
