I've got pretty much everything between my engine and radiator dismantled (belts, fans, working on pullies) and have a couple questions.
I'm replacing the clutch fan and a busted a/c fan with an electric. Anybody have any recommendations on wiring it up? I have a method I'm going to try, wiring a switch to the a/c fan relay and running it off of there untill I can afford a thermostatic sensor. Wondering what some of you who have completed this have done.. . Anything else I should do aside from replacing the belts while I'm all up in them guts? I wish I could afford an ASP underdrive pulley right now, that factory one is heavy as hell <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=' ![]() Oh and any tricks on getting the pullies out? I searched 240sx.org, found directions indicating I need to pull off the bigass bolt on the end, though that's just cranking over the engine. I don't have a pnuematic wrench, just a breaker bar, ratchets, and torque wrench.

Not sure about the S13, but on my 97' the A/C fan comes on if the coolant temp gets too high with the a/c OFF. I guess to help out the clutch fan... I was planning on just removing that little a/c fan and using the 12v source and relays from that circut to power my new fans. Makes sense to me..... <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
