Oil leak! But from where?!

Hey guys, I have a question. One of the bolts on the water pump cover was torqued too hard and is broken. I don't know if this adds to or is the problem buuttt, it leaks oil like a mother fuck, but it doesn't seem to be from the torqued screw. When I first got the car it hardly had oil and thought no big deal, so when I got back home I had to check it because it was all dripping onto the pulleys (can you squeal like a bitch?) and burning it up (smoke all in cabin and behind car). I used one of those carwash pressure washers to clean all the oil off to see exactly where it's coming from and I couldn't find it. All I know is that there is a ton of oil around the water pump pulley, crank pulley and all down the front of the engine onto the support. And I'm stumped cause my other car leaked from no where but the damn pan. hahaah.

Yeah, I know, I said I doubt it would come from that. I don't know if it would be related though. SOunds like it should be it because the previous owner had to fix the timing. :} I'll check that out tom.

I had the same problem last month after getting my S14. I had oil all around the pulleys and everything around it and I can't find it. After some reading I replaced the front crank oil seal and done, no more leaks. It's been dry ever since and very cheap fix. Front oil seal is about $13 from the dealer.
