car wont start!
i have a 90 240sx all stock and my car wont start. The problem started last month when it started to rain, i spun out and my car turn off. As i tried to turn the car back on, it didnt want to, after a couple minutes it turned on just fine, but later that week i noticed that it took more key turns to turn on, untill now that it wont turn on at all or crank. the car would only turn on if i push start it
So i searched and here a list of things that I've done
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME! Thanks -Marlon CHECK POST #12 FOR SOLUTION!

I heard a clicking sound under the steering wheel so i checked the fuses and they were all good
The car runs and drives fine it just wont start without it being push started.

Check to see if the wire to the starter is connected. Sometimes they get loose and you have to push it back in. I hate that shit. It's on the left of the starter. Looks like a phone cable plug, sorta.

I trimmed the wires sheathing back on mine and jumped a wire across and my car cranked so i replaced the switch. You could always clip the wires and wire them together, but be careful as car will crank when car is in gear and clutch is engaged.

I checked what "super240sx7185" vbmenu_register("postmenu_1763556", true); suggested and that was the problem. I guess who ever had my car before me had disable the clutch switch by having a staple connecting the wire so i took the staple out and connected it normally and the car turn on fine
![]() Thanks Zilvia for your help! ![]()
