sr20det start up problems

hey guys

I searched but didnt find the same problems im having.

the car starts up fine and idles fine too but when I drive it, it starts to struggle around 3,000 rpm, it starts to blog a little and feels like its about to die out. Then about 4-5mins worth of driving, I turn off the car it would not start up again. you can hear it cranking but there seem to be no sparks

after about 20mins or so, it starts up again... w the f? this happens everytime.

im using a stock k24e fuel pump, im not sure if thats the problem with the car dying out at 3k rpm?

none of my harnesses were cut or splice into because its rhd.

any suggestions?

thanks in advance!

check for spark. if thats fine, then switch out the maf with another persons and see it does it again. either that or your timing is shit. also if those dont do it, then your ignitor switch might be on its way out.

Can you actually rev passed 3k? check your coilpacks, check your ignitor. Does the problem seem to be consistent with revs or more so with boost? If you can see if you can swap out coilpacks from another car or some that you know are good. Friend had similar problem and it ended up being a bad coilpack. It would be fine under no load but when driving under a load act up. Kinda wierd.
