I am going thro a sr swap as we speak, what I am trying to find out is on the tranny the is a nipple I belive that its a breather for the trans but my question is I dont see the tube on the front of the trans and the back of the block.. What can i do at this point any one??

can I just leave it as is (I know the answer is no) but what else can i do with out pulling the motor back out and again I dont see the tube that it is pose to go into. (ps if you know the part number would be a great help as well).

the way that it looks in the picture is the way it should be. the tube runs along the trans and goes up to the little bronze curve and just vents like that. the small curved metal piece doesn't go to anything. you just need the rubber line to look like the one in the pic and your fine! also if you over fill your trans lube it will come out through the vent tube....lol. dont ask.
