98 KA24DE into 91 DOHC Coupe
Okay, so first of all I've searched the forums for quite a bit. Still no real info concerning my swap.
I've founds lots of info on the 95 DE into S13 DE swaps, but no 97+ DE swaps. I know the engines are diff, and I want to know what you need to do to swap it into a DE S13. (DE = KA24DE btw) I have: -Running 95 240sx w/ 98 DE swap. (Engine/tranny/ecu/wiring harness) -91 DE 240SX w/o engine/tranny/ecu wiring harness Now I heard that I'm going to need to use a S13 intake manifold and ecu to get it running, but so far that's been mostly for 95 non-OBDII motors. So my question is can I just use a S14 wiring harness/ecu/tranny/engine? I want to run the S14 tranny(The S13 one is shit), but I know they have diff sensors if I'm correct. Any help/feedback will be appreciated.

you can still run the s14 tranny, they just have sensor on top.
as for the wiring harness i dont think you can use the the s14 one. Im not 100% sure but there different. So im going to say yes you can use the engine( your going to need an s13 intake manifold and exhuast manifold), and the s14 tranny will work as well. |

i have a 97 dual cam with a 95 tranny in my 89 hatch, u just need an s13 dual cam cluster, s13 dual cam harness and ECU, u don't have to change the intake manifold or exaust manifold, u will have to change the plug for the engine temp censor if u want ur temp gauge to work and u'll need an s13 distributor and u should be good to go
