i have a 1990 240sx fastback automatic. i recently changed out out alternator and when finished i took the car off the jack stands and started the car. when in PARK, and my foot on the brake i hear a clicking sound as if my blinkers are on but they arent and it is coming from underneath the automatic shifter. and it seems to come on only in park with the brake depressed. once i get off the brake it goes away. also when it is clicking i can push down on the tab near the base of the shifter and the sound goes away until i let go. it hasnt effected the car but bothers me because it started happening out of nowhere. if this has happened to anybody else or any advice what could have happened or if i have done something unintentionally please let me know. thanks.
