i just swapped trannys on my sr cause the shaft messed so i took my ka tranny an use the sr bell housing as told. when i turn the key while in nuetral the motor jumps forward slighty but when the clucth is pressed in no movement(dont need clutch to start)tranny has been sittingt for a while i put some royal purple in there. it doesnt jump every time but most of the time it does is there some thing i should look for or check.

So it jumps as if you had it on gear when you're starting it?

There's a possibility that the fork in the tranny is bent & that it's engaging 1st.
