I can't believe how big a  sellout SPEED channel is.  First it was NASCAR programming 8 hours a day, now it's all these ricer's racing at Road Atlanta.  A bunch of integra's and protege's plastered with stickers, wings, and open exhausts. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='

OK so I'm being sarcastic.  I'm just torn what to watch now.  BMWfilms or touring car racing.  I think I'll be taking advantage at the lack of Nascar coverage in daytime.  wow, I'm amazeded to see the protege's keeping up with the integra's.

They allow different cars different levels of engine mods to keep the field even...  The ITRs aren't too far from stock (aside from race prepping of course) but Roger Foo's old Civic had a B16A swap.  It's great racing though.

Those Proteges are FAST!  Yes, the ITRs run slow, but Roger has said that his Prot is considerably faster than his old hatch (which as we all know is not a slow car).  Alslo agreed that the ITRs aren't as modded, plus, by this point in the season they are carrying a lot of lead for winning (weight reward for winning a race) - iirc, the RTR ITRs are both carrying the max load.  <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/huh2.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':huh2:'>
