What is a right hand drive sileighty rolling chasis worth?
Just curious, thinking of starting over....i have a 89 240sx thats right hand drive. Rear quarter has a dent in it. Car is straight, Comes with s13 front end thats immaculate no dents or dings but does not match rest of car. The car has no motor, comes with stock seats and interior. Its sitting on eibachs. ....What would u be willing to pay for it? Just curious if u think its worth 1200 or 3000....etc.. |

The car was cliped, jdm front clip on a U.S. hatch. The car that was cliped has a title. It is 100% legal as it has vin# located in the door jams and in the doors which is all that is needed. Located in Indiana. Whats it worth?

... Maybe you think its worth much more than that, but personally, it really isnt worth dick. I would say maybe 500-750 bucks to someone who knows what they are doing or to an idiot bandwagon hoping buffon probably could get your 1200 bucks. Oh yeah, all s13's come with s13 front ends. Ya meant Silvia right?

mmkay.. good luck finding a clean shell for 750 bucks, and that's stock. If all the RHD conversion and a SILVIA front is on there(i think that's what he means) ..it's still worth 750? If it's just a usdm front end then it's worth 1000-1500.

shells in this area go for 500-1000 bucks(clean one) so you should buy some more and sell 'em here

If i could get 3500 out of it, I would have the body in mint condition, sitting in primer, no dings or anything, full interior....basically just need a spray and motor droped in....dont know if someone would be williing to pay. Think people on ebay would go for that?

If it's a conversion like you said. It's not worth much. Because you don't know how good the job was done. I would say 1000 with the front end. silvia front end conversion parts are only worth 700 bucks. Front end clip with no engine is worth 50 bucks (it's consider metal junk to many people). The car was USDM and you cut it meaning the car is worth nothing.
How was the conversion done. Firewall swap or welded from low pillers and A pillers?

It was welded from the a-pillars. It was all done by a professional who has done this for 15 plus years. The pillars were cut in a puzzle manner and welded and spot welded in many different places.
The lower of the car had 2 feet long tubes of a smaller shape of the inside of the frame rails on both sides, so it slide into the frame rails. The car then slide back together. Then spot welds were laid top bottom side all up and down the 2 feet of those rails that are inside the stock rails. The car was then welded along all of the other lines. The way it was done its actually stronger then the factory. Everything was measured over and over, windows, doors were hung, everythign aligned before final welds were place. All body lines line up, and doors close properly, as well as windows fit perfect. |

since the car was actually cut and welded together, i would like to take my previous statement back about how much it's worth. It's now worth 500 bucks. Well..it's actually worth 800 for the silvia front and then minus 300 for all space the car takes while you do the work (take the panels off the frankenstein shell and onto another shell.) Then you gotta ditch this shell which will cost more money and maybe you can part out the RHD stuff.
