z32 brake question (yes i searched)

im trying to so a z32 brake setup, but dont want to buy new rims since i like my rims. With my hours of searching the forums and net it got some mixed info. some say that i need 16's or higher and some other site says that it can clear 15's depending on the offset (also said that i might need spacers so it wont rub)

my wheels are the s14 15X6 8 double spoke (i cant find offset)
http://www.finishlinewheels.com/NISS...97/A-62342U10/

if anyone knows or did a upgrade, i need some help

also does the 26mm or the 30mm matter since the rotor size is both 280mm

If they clear the special S13 7 spokes which are 15x7 they might fit these as well. If they hit then you can use spacers.

I've seen people fit them on 15's before after having a machine shop grind the caliper or wheel down a bit to clear them. I've never seen a 15 clear without modification, but maybe someone esle knows more than I. If the offset is the same as my old stock SE S14 wheels then the offset should be fine. The calipers for both the 26mm and teh 30mm should be the same thickness and should not affect the neccessary offset for the wheel. And as you said they are both 280mm in Diameter so it should be the same affect. GOOD LUCK!

i Believe the 30mm is a little thicker since the 26mm caliper you can run those with certain stock s13 se rims. The both have the same diameter as for the rotors but they will have different thickness also...check this site http://importnut.net/300zxbrakeswap.htm, it tell you everything you need to know

All S13 wheels are 15x6. In fact Nissan doesn't make a 7" wide wheel until you get into the 17" sizes.
