I am looking for some picts of S13s with that 'old skool' look. You know, nothing fancy for the body, maybe a front lip, and with some low offset rims... mesh maybe. You know what I mean!

I have looked around a bit but didnt come up with much, i check www.nissansilvia.com, but they dont seem to have as many picts as they used to.

So if anyone has some sweet picts laying around, post up! I am sure I am not the only one who wouldnt mind seein' them.

Yeah, nice man. I was waiting for you to post. I figured you would have a few picts like that.

For some reason the past week or so I have been really wanting an S13, I love the old skool look with some nice mesh with a sweet lip on them.

But I am to damn poor to get another car, and I love my S14 to much to leave it.

Quick! every one send me money so I can buy another 240!

I used to know a site that had loads of "old skool" S13s, or atleast loads of S13s with mesh rims and such. It was a used car thing where they were selling thier cars, I know I made a post with a bunch of pics a long time ago, but I suck with the search function so see if you can find it.

I'll look for the site though.

We can't have two captain obvious's and I think I was here first . But yea thats not my car, I kinda changed how I want my car too look, after everyone suddenly wanted the c-west kit and typhoon wheels, so I kinda switched my plans. Especially after seeing your car (hureyboi) I kinda fell in love with white S13s all over again, except i prefer if the roof is painted black, and is that a PDM lip on your car.

Why would SMIC be old skool? Did they not make FMIC's in the early 90's? FMIC's cool betterright?

they had FMICs back then too but not as common as now. either they were designed not to cut the battery tray or much smaller. if you look at eraly 90 bumpers, they design for air flow was difference, hence why people cut the chuuki bumper up, taht wasnt as common.

also high HP #s were as common as well, so a FMIC wasnt as necessary.

there were FMIC. actually if you look in the 180sx hyper rev at company cars, most dont have FMIC. just larger SMICs.

old school styled cars that are around today have new ways sort of setups (large FMICs) because they are pushing more power and require it.

edit: also about exhaust. the older school (early 90s) had more larger muffler exhaust. now is that angled smaller muffler, larger tip, louder, deeper style. if you've seen my exhaust, its old school. early 90s RS*R exhaust. i am upgrading to a turbo RS*R one though (eventually), new style. the times are a changin my friends. or so i was told......

ugh, the 240sx came out in 1989! I don't think they're in any way considered "Old School", whatever way you dress it up.

"Old School" will be cars from the pre-70's.

-I have the lower lip and 0 offset mesh rims on my coupe and I don't consider it "Old School" . . . . .and when you said "more mesh" were you referring to the kind Eclipse guys put as grills on their Combat Shogun body kits?

"Old School" will be cars from the pre-70's.

old school for 180sx/240sx is 89. odl school would be my dad but that's not what this topic is about.

mesh=ssr

yo udont see SSR most of the time on Kouki 180sx in japan. its spoke most of time (advans, volk, etc)

more mesh means a nice collection of mesh wheels.

old school wheels are like what sileightymania used to have.

look at early 90s 180sx and you might understand. compare that with modern day 180sx...you'll see
if not then oh well.

Old school is sorta hard to explain. To most people or people that like expensive nice parts for their car, might consider it "ghetto".

Usually consist of small mesh rims with big tires, negative front camber, no exotic body kits, wangan spoiler possibly but not limited to, or no spoiler.
