I have been looking at fmic for 89-94 240 with SR20DET swaps. The Godspeed kit for $440 with piping seems like a great deal. I have heard some good stuff about other Godspeed products. But anyone have any actual experiance with the intercooler setup or any Godspeed intercoolers. Thanks

Ya I have seen them on ebay for $250 plus $45 to ship. I am just wondering about the quality.

Hybrid IC kits...there's a thread in the advertisers sect. for them, and for the money you cant go wrong. I haven't heard too much about anything from godspeed, but I have about the Hybrid, and having had the kit for almost 2 yrs w/no prob I would def. reccomend them. Besides, Mike from Hipro provided excellent Cust service

I've got a godspeed project fmic that was sponsored to me.
It's still in the box in my garage. Looks pretty good, when I get around to installing I'll tell you guys how it goes..

I used the Godspeed intercooler kit and paid $275 shipped. I couldn't pass up this deal..These look like quality products...I have some using this intercooler putting down 500whp...I had no issues with installation but I did get some quality black couplings from extremepsi.com....Here are some pics from mine....

Looks amazing. That is what I have been waiting to hear. Hopefully I will be ordering my SR20 next week and get the Godspeed intercooler at the same time.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!! How many times...I just saw/intalled on. The core is GOOD at best. Its big but I question the quality of alum. The pipes....suck ass. The one pipe is cast! the others feel like you could bend,break, or dent them with your mind.....case in point, it will work just fine...,but you get what you pay for.

i have a few buddys that have them thay work awesome no problems

ex the hot pipes come with plugs that pop open i dont know why thay have them to begin with?

Supra guys have been runing these with plenty of success. When kits for the JZA80 are like 1800 for the greddy kits and hks kits. These seemed like a god send. So mine is holding up fine and cooling just as well as a greddy kit that my buddy has as well as better than my old precision cooler.

well i had the blitz lm i think it is called so iam going to use the blitz intercooler piping with the godspeed core .......

I had the godspeed core w/ a greddy elbow and piping. Really good product for the price. I got it all for less than 400 though, off ebay.

I also had to make my own brackets, they didn't supply them. Other than that, good stuff.

ive had 2 different ebay kits, and they both had really nice cores with piping that fit with no modification other than hole thru battery tray and widen hole on hot side

Its the same as a greddy intercooler......

on some earlier thread a dude cut the godspeed and the greddy to reveal the cores (both of which the exact same)...

3inch piping....and VERY reliable

only issue with the kit my buddy got was the hot pipe.. beware of the hotpipe.. after this issue 2 other kits i installed ran into the same problem... not sure if the kids are getting the correct kits or what... but other kits from godspeed i have seen look as the one pictured above... i believe you will be alright... its a start
