Pyrometer help.

Hey everybody I want to know if you all can help me in installing a pyrometer, I have one that the sensor is angeled to 90 degree. Well I want to know where I have to install it since they say the manifold and, other sites say 6 inches below the exhaust manifold flange, help me.

Exactly. You want to tap into the exhaust manifold runner on the cylinder that runs the leanest. I would imagine that it will be cylinder #4. The leanest cylinder will run the hottest so that is why you want to moniter than one.
