maybe connecting them to the fuel pump fuse is causing the delay? is there any other spot to splice them?

thats a horrible plcae to power ur fans from...the s chassis fuel pump is already disgustingly under powered

do it right...go get yourself a relay setup and run a direct tap from the battery to your fans...run a switch to the inside of your car and turn them on and off whenever you drive the car...running a proper and constant 12 volt connection to them will ensure proper RPMs from the fans

running your power source from your fuel pump is asking for problems...the S chassis fuel pump has such tiny wiring runing to it that it struggles to carry a proper 12 volt current back to it...youll find this out when you go a run a larger fuel pump (especially a fuel pump that handles more than 500hp like a denso supra pump)...should you encounter any kind of power spike in your motor...you start blowing fuel pump fuses like crazy keeping your fans wired like that

btw...why are you running altima fans??? the best fan setup by far for the S chassis is the clutch fan and shroud (youll find this out REAL easy if you go somewhere thats super hot...like vegas or phoenix)...the altima fans are decent...but still dont draw what the clutch fan and shroud do...if you want an electric fan...just use the one that came with the 91-94 S13s...run a relay and switch for that and turn it on during track use WITH the clutch
