Two days ago I got 4 new tires at Discount Tire Company, and yesterday morning I noticed that one of the center caps for the wheels was missing (I have Sentra SE-R wheels). I think it was on when I drove away from the store, but now it's gone. Should I expect them to pay for the cap (it's like 15 bucks) or should I expect to just have to swallow the loss? I know, I know, I will be calling them, but I am just wondering if anything like this has happened to anybody before.

You could always say that it wasnt on when you left hinting the fact that maybe they forgot to put it on....but obviously your going to calll them to find out.....that is all

Just tell them they missed one if you seriously want it, most of the stores are pretty legit about that stuff. About 4 of my friends work there

Why do you even have them on your car?

It's probably either sitting on their balancing machine or long gone...I wouldn't go through the effort of trying to get it back, but I wouldn't put those wheels on my car either...

lol. why he has those wheels on his car isn't the question. (they do look decent for stocks though).

I would just go pay 15 bucks to save the few hours of hassle.

Better yet, I have a spare SE-R wheel that's fucked. You can have the center cap off of it. Done and done.

Thanks dude. I didnt talk to them yet, but I am pretty sure that it was on there when I left the place. They must not have put it back on right, I am pretty sure it fell off as I was driving.

haha i forget fucking center caps all the time, especially if we are rushing to get cars out. just go up there tell them they forgot your center cap and all you have to do is buy one and take the recipt up there and they will reimburse you, easy stuff.

My local Discount Tire lost one of my Equip center caps and your damn straight I made them eat the cost of getting me a replacement. Took two fucking month's but it was the principle for me and a $70 price tag.
