i have a gt28rs, would i still be able to run it up to 14psi? would there be anyway to modify it to handle more psi? stronger spring or something? i want a recirculating BOV and i like how this one mounts and connects.

If you've invested in a GT28RS, you can afford a BOV. Check for one used, you can get name brand used stuff under $100. Hell, I even got my SARD R2D2 new in box for less than $100.

For the record, a GT28RS at 1 bar is going to be pushing almost 50% more air than a stock T25 at 10psi or whatever. The stock pop-off valve is lame, and won't be able to protect the bigger turbo from surging.

Wasnt there a thread not to long ago proving that compressor surge wasnt as bad as people think. I know alot of people on here dont run blow off valves at all. And have done it for some time. Plus compressor surge sounds way better than any bov. Here is that thread

Compressor surge isn't as harmful to journal bearing type turbos as it is ball bearing ones.

Not to mention, throttle feel is better than a atmospheric setup.

I would rather change a turbo, than wash down my cylinder walls with excess fuel.

Or you could run recirc.
