Ok, I understand that the T25 and stuff are for the flange(i think <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'> ) but I wanna know what really matters in those numbers. Would a T28 have the same flange as a T25? Or are they completely different. If anyone could enlighten me about the rest of the sizing/selection process I would appreciate it.

T2x will have the same flange as any other T2x turbo. The 2x (25 or 28) are also the size of the compressor. The larger the number, the larger the turbo. A T3 has a completely different flange than a t2x, and a T3/4 has a t3 flange for mounting purpose.
Also... that is a broad generalization. A t3 will have a 4-bolt mount in most cases and mount directly to a rev-hard manifold... but special cases like the early 90's T-bird had T3 turbos with a funny 5-bolt mount. So... if new, the flange will have the same mount as any other turbo of the same family. Other than that... it is just a sizing term. -Jeff
