well, my car is now up and running. i had to replace the water pump, and 2 fuel injectors, which are hella expensive heh. but it feels good to have a working car again!!!

and has anyone ever had a fuel inj. ever crack? one of mine had a crack...i dunno, very weird

Typically, the KA24E has some injector problems. I dunno about cracks though.

It does feel good to have a working car. In about 7 months, my car will be in perfect condition. I'll do a tuneup, replace interior, tires, suspension, brakes, tranny, bascially spend way too much money that the car is worth  <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='

damn you should have dropped me an e-mail. I have all the parts you need laying around in my garage waiting for me to get around to throwing them away!!! I have 8 engines in my garage that are not installed in cars at the moment! 3 SR's, 1 SOHC, 2 S13 KA's and 2 S14 KA's!! LOL

Eric-- No it Louis's POS!! I gave yours away to a needy soul! Still out there running I believe. I didnt see the thread yet I'll go look now. LOL

negular- Yeah most are good but are earmarked for some project or another! LOL I have a 91 KA for my 92, a 95 KA for a friends 91, the 92 out of my second car has issues with low compression in #4 and had a blown headgasket. I have a completely stripped 91 that needs to be tossed, the SOHC has no compression on it at all!! LOL The SR's are all my toys, I will be adding another one next week too.... I think I have another 91 that is just high milage no real issues laying around in there too... Need to do a little spring cleaning this spring!
